Ava Turns 1

Ava's 1st Birthday

Ava woke up at about 7:00 am with her hair all wild. We had breakfast, nothing special.

Ava is 1 years old. We had a great day, a small party with family and some close friends. Guests included Grandma Mimi & Papa Chito, Grandma Cheryl & Grandpa Bill, Grandpa Jim & Grandma Edna, The Thalman's, The Payne's & Grandma Cindy, The Balls, The Mueller's, Stacie & Aiden, Juril, cousin Hector and we can't forget all the Land kids.

Geoff cooked up some hamburgers and hot dogs and we had Grandma Mimi famous potato salad, yummy, and fruit salad and beans.

Ava really had no clue what was going on, so we next started to open gifts, she got some clothes a really cool ice cream truck (from mommy and daddy), she got some new toys.

I have to give the best most thoughtful gift prize to The Payne's and Grandma Cindy. Someone actually took the time to remember baby Ella our Angel, they had a star named after her, so that is why in the next picture's I am crying. I just want to say thank you to them one more time, its hard to come up with words to explain how I felt at that moment and we are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and I cant wait to raise our little ones and have many more special birthdays.

We then moved on to cake and that was a mess (well thanks to me). Ava was naked down to her diaper and she had fun with the cake as the pictures will show.

Ava had a great 1st birthday and we thank everyone who came and shared this special day with us.

On Friday Geoff, myself, Ava, my mom and Geoff's mom went to the cemetery to wish Ella a Happy Birthday as an Angel. We planted a purple and a pink plant for her and also took a Angel wind chime (with a matching one here), so when they chime they will chime together.

Happy 1st Bithday Ava & Happy 1st Birthday as an angel Ella. We love you.
